This torch is a little spendy, but I was pretty impressed after I used one for the first time the other day. I have been using MAP and it works pretty fast but I can tell this really heats up faster then the MAP. I think some of it might be the torch head design.
I use this torch and it seems to do pretty well. I don't know if the head design is anything, but it gets hot quick and allows me to get my copper together fast.
From my limited use of this torch, It seems to be a great tool. It heats up super fast which makes for quick joints. I think the fast heat and what seems like hotter temps comes from the torch head. The fuel is pretty much the same as the old MAPP gas as far as I know.
