Default install an inverter in in a camper question

Hey people!
I have started a project and need a little advice. I am building a tag a long camper. It will have a 50 amp electrical box for sites with electric hook ups.
I want to run an 2000w inverter powered by marine batteries to convert dc to ac for lights.ref, and tv when electricity is not present. Can the inverter be tied into couple of the 20 amp circuits in the main panel? If so, any help on the proper way would be appreciated.

Just like with a house you probably want to use a switch to integrate it safely into the system so that it doesn't backfeed when you go back to electrical hookups. It's not as dangerous as when you tie a generator into your home during a power outage, but the principle is similar. In fact, it's got more in common with people who use solar power as supplemental power for thei home grid- but you only want to use one at a time, so it's less complex.

You basically use an inverter to handle the duty of power management. That's the device you're going to need.

Default Thanks tool-mo-z

I will try to understand what I just read in the article you linked.
I use an inverter at ball games to run tvs, satilites, etv but I use the inverters outlets to directly plug into.
I need all the knowledge I can gather to pull off this project. Thanks
