We were able to check out some new tools from DeWalt this week at their press event held at Hollywood Studios in Florida. One of the big announcements was the launch of a new Reciprocating Saw (DWE357), which features a unique, hinged configuration designed to provide greater control and balance over traditional reciprocating saw designs. The DWE357 seems ideally suited for general contractors, mechanical contractors, electricians, HVAC professionals, framers, and other residential and commercial construction pros. The tool is designed specifically towards jobs involving cutting applications in tight spots, overhead and other challenging workspaces.

Why does the Dewalt DWE357 Reciprocating Saw have 12V MAX in its name? It's obviously a corded tool from the picture.

Good catch. Fixed. We had posted several tool in one day from that event and apparently had "12V Max" on the brain...
