Default Job Trailer Broken into

One of my work site job trailers was broken into last night. It was not for the sake of trying to keep my tools secure either. They did not even cut my pad lock but rather just cut the actual latch on the trailer door with some really big bolt cutters it looks like. All in all they walk off with about 5,500 in tool and equipment. I was so stoked up this morning when we discovered the busted open trailer. What more can I do to secure my job site? I chain everything, we don't leave anything laying around, everything is locked up. It just ticks me off!

Man, that is terrible. My condolences on your loss.

Interior audible alarm may help, as will a very large, poisonous snake... preferably underfed.

On the low tech side, you could put a bucket marked "biohazard" near the door so that when it is opened (illegally) it dumps over spilling a thick, viscous sludge. If you can get something that glows in the dark, you'd be golden.
